Bathroom. Interior
The interior of the bathroom should be chosen based on who it is intended for. If the bathroom “for oneself” can be infused with a spirit of romance and should include necessary furniture for storing aromatic oils, salts, decorative candles, or other items designed to create an aura conducive to complete relaxation, then a guest bathroom may contain only the minimum necessary furniture and plumbing, being simply comfortable and practical.
At the same time, the bathroom, like other rooms in the house, should be maintained in a unified style. When choosing plumbing and household appliances, one should not chase after “bigger” and “better” if the dimensions of your bathroom do not allow for it. The key words in creating a bathroom interior are “comfortable” and “functional.”
The bathroom is meant for relaxation after a hard day, recharging energy, and restoring strength. Therefore, the interior of the bathroom should evoke pleasant feelings of tranquility and bliss. In most cases, this is achieved through proper lighting and the selection of color execution in the design, depending on the size of the bathroom. To create the necessary atmosphere in a small bathroom, it must be visually expanded so that the narrow space does not “press” on the person. This can be done by using a light color palette. Pastel shades of soft blue, light green, beige, milk, and white are ideal. Using light-colored ceramic tile laid diagonally will also visually expand the space of the bathroom. The lighting of the bathroom interior should be combined: moderately bright general lighting and additional enhanced optional lighting for necessary areas of the bathroom: mirrors, individual decor items, and so on. With small dimensions of the bathroom, the furniture should be as spacious and compact as possible. If the bathroom is quite spacious, it does not mean that it can be cluttered with a large amount of furniture. Everything should be in moderation and correspond to the size of the room.
